If you keep getting an error code, you might want to look it up at this link - our product is not endorsed by Nintendo, but we use a similar chipset so the error codes are still relevant.

To solve the problem, try the following:

1) See if your PC or other device can connect to the network using exactly the same cable and network connection. If so, your network is ok.

2) Check there are no firewalls blocking the Wii (on the modem, or on the PC if connection is via a PC). Test by turning the firewalls off, then check if the Wii can connect. You can turn them on again and set specific settings in the firewall to allow the Wii to connect.

3) If the above two fixes fail, you probably have a faulty LAN adaptor. Please return it to your place of purchase for a replacement.
