The following article explains as to how you update your Action Replay for PSP depending on which the release of the product which you own.

If you own the product ‘Action Replay for PSP 1000 2000 3000 PSPgo please refer to section 1.

If you own the product ‘PSP Action Replay 1GB’ (Battery Version) please refer to section 2.

Please ensure that you follow the section which applies to your Action Replay as detailed above.

1. Action Replay for PSP 1000 2000 3000 PSPgo

If you own the product ‘PSP Action Replay 1GB’ (Battery Version) please refer to section 2.

To keep up to date with the latest codes you must always run the latest version of Action Replay for PSP software.

The easiest way to ensure you’re up to date with codes is to use the Action Replay for PSP PC Installer application which is available here.

To update your Action Replay for PSP please follow these steps.

  • Download and run the above setup program to install the Action Replay for PSP PC Installer program (you should only need to do this once)
  • Go to your PC’s Start menu and run the Action Replay for PSP Installer application
  • (Start / All Programs / Action Replay for PSP Installer / Action Replay for PSP Installer)
  • Connect your PSP to your PC via the USB cable and enter USB mode. Make sure that you can access the Internet
  • Follow any onscreen instructions to ensure the application can correctly identify your PSP**
  • The Installer program will always download the latest version of Action Replay for PSP and install it on your PSP.

Once the update process is finished, disconnect your PSP and enjoy the latest codes!

NOTE: If this is the first time that you have run Action Replay for PSP then you will have to complete a couple of extra steps.

Follow the onscreen instructions to install Action Replay for PSP - this will generate a unique code for your PSP.

To keep up to date with the latest codes you must always download the latest codelist using either your consoles internet browser or computers internet browser from the website www.pspar.com.

If your PSP can access the internet wirelessly please follow these steps to download the latest codelist for your ‘PSP Action Replay 1GB’ (Battery Version).

  • Boot Action Replay and then choose to exit to the PSP’s home screen
  • Load the internet browser and visit www.pspar.com
  • Download the latest codelist to PSP/COMMON
  • Turn off your PSP fully
  • Turn your console on and wait while Action Replay loads through to the codelist

If your PSP can not access the internet wirelessly (meaning you can’t use the method listed above), please follow these steps to download the latest codelist for your ‘PSP

  • Using your computers internet browser visit www.pspar.com/
  • Download the latest codelist to a location of your choose
  • Connect the Action Replay PSP memory card to your PC (using either a card reader or the PSP itself by loading Action Replay PSP, exiting to the PSP home screen and then entering USB mode)
  • Copy the downloaded latest codelist to the location PSP/COMMON
  • Return the card to your PSP (or exit USB mode) and reboot your console
  • Turn your console on and wait while Action Replay loads through to the codelist
