The v1.25 firmware update which is downloadable from within this article is designed for use with the DSi Action Replay which has a micro SD card slot. If your DSi Action Replay does not have a micro SD card slot you do not require this update. If your DSi Action Replay does have a micro SD card slot, confirm that your DSi Action Replay is using an earlier firmware version by selecting ‘Options’ from the DSi Action Replay home screen.

The v1.25 firmware update includes support for a number of games including Pokemon Black, Pokemon White and Professor Layton and the Lost Future. Please follow these steps to update your DSi Action Replay:

  1. Download the v1.25 firmware update from the base of this article and uncompress the downloaded file

  2. Using the included PC software disc, install the DSi Action Replay Code Manager PC software

  3. Open the DSi Action Replay Code Manager PC software

  4. Disconnect the DSi Action Replay from your console and connect it to your computer using the USB cable

  5. When installed by Windows the DSi Action Replay will be detected by the Code Manager PC software which is confirmed by the message ‘Waiting for Action Replay Card’ no longer being displayed beneath the section ‘Memory Card’

  6. Drag and drop the downloaded v1.25 firmware update within the grey bar located at the top of the DSi Action Replay Code Manager PC software

  7. Select the ‘OK’ button

  8. As prompted to finalise the update, you now need to commit the changes. Select the ‘Commit Changes’ button and select the ‘Yes’ button to confirm that you would like to commit the changes

  9. The firmware update is now complete, select ‘Ok’ and disconnect the DSi Action Replay
